FY 2023 Program Integrity Webinar #2: COVID-19 Relief Funding - Fiscal Management and Program Integrity Tips and Considerations for Tribes

The National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA) and the Tribal Child Care Capacity Building Center (TCBC) hosted this joint webinar that provides fiscal management and program integrity tips and considerations for administering COVID-19 relief funding. Representatives from the Kenaitze Tribe of Alaska participated as panelists during the webinar. The Kenaitze Tribe shared their strategies to spend COVID-19 relief funds, communicated challenges faced when obligating and liquidating those funds and how the agency overcame those challenges, their processes used to ensure the funds were spent in accordance with COVID-19 relief funds, CCDF and Tribal regulations, and shared strategies used to ensure fiscal accountability. In addition, the Kenaitze Tribe staff answered questions posed by other Tribal Lead Agencies during the webinar.
