Data & Information System Consultation Center
Data & Information System Consultation Center (DISCC) supports Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies in improving their core child care data and IT systems to create better user experiences, increase access to child care, and strengthen outcomes for children, families, and providers. DISCC serves state, territory, and Tribal Lead Agencies through technical assistance and consultation.
DISCC was established by the Office of Child Care (OCC) to improve the capacity of CCDF Lead Agencies as they develop or improve integration and the maturity level of their IT systems, with a focus on improvements in family and provider experience, increased access to child care, and stronger outcomes. DISCC is preparing national benchmarking tools and will conduct a scan of CCDF Lead Agency IT systems. DISCC's knowledge management system acts as a clearinghouse of federally-available IT system resources. In the future, DISCC will work with a small number of interested states, territories, and Tribes for IT roadmap consultation and implementation.

CCDF IT Resources Clearinghouse provides topic-organized resources about technology domains to support your knowledge on important areas of IT.
