Through the review of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020–2022 Tribal CCDF Plans, the Office of Child Care (OCC) determined that a number of Tribal Lead Agencies submitting Plans had conditions in Section 2 – Establish Standards and Monitoring Processes to Ensure the Health and Safety of Child Care Settings. These sessions engage Tribal Lead Agencies in a gradual learning experience focused on the health and safety requirements, specifically standards, training, and monitoring, to develop an effective and approvable CCDF Plan. These sessions will support Tribal Lead Agencies in identifying all the direct services offered by their Tribal Lead Agency and apply health and safety standards to all categories of care funded by CCDF.
