Webinar - Coordinated Monitoring in Early Care and Education: Benefits and Strategies

On December 1, 2016, the National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance hosted a webinar about coordinated monitoring in early care and education. The webinar highlighted the recent U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Department of Agriculture Joint Statement on Coordinated Efficiencies in Monitoring and Oversight of Early Care and Education Programs and the Office of Planning, Research and Evaluation’s research brief, Coordinated Monitoring Systems for Early Care and Education and its accompanying tool, Mapping the Early Care and Education Monitoring Landscape. Ideas for coordinating monitoring across funding streams were discussed, as well as goals, approaches, and frameworks for coordinated monitoring. Ohio and New Mexico shared their strategies for coordinated monitoring.
