Tribal Early Learning Initiative Kickoff Webinar

This meeting celebrated the launch of the new Tribal Early Learning Initiative (TELI). TELI is a partnership between the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) and Tribal communities that wish to better coordinate their Tribal early childhood services (such as child care, Head Start, and home visiting) and improve the experiences of children and families. The goal of TELI is to support coordinated, Tribally-driven early childhood systems by breaking down silos across programs and identifying and addressing barriers to collaboration. The new TELI builds and expands upon a successful effort from 2012-2017. We were pleased to welcome 41 Tribes to the “TELI Network,” a large learning community, and an additional 8 Tribes to the “TELI Collaborative,” an intensive 3-year peer-to-peer technical assistance opportunity. During this webinar, participants heard from ACF early childhood leaders, learned more about the goals and possibilities of the TELI, and understood the technical assistance opportunities available to Network and Collaborative participants.
