Programs Serving Children with Disabilities–IDEA as A Key Component of State Early Childhood Systems

This video, created in partnership with the Early Childhood Technical Assistance Center (ECTA) provides an introduction to IDEA Part C and Part B 619 requirements. It also provides guidance to PDG B-5 Grantees on how Parts C and B 619 work in collaboration with other early childhood systems and how they build capacity of the adult caregivers to support child development and education. This video highlights the family perspective and is intended to be a companion to an upcoming brief by the same name on this topic. State leaders can use it as a resource to help their constituencies more fully understand the role of IDEA in early childhood systems.
