Office of Child Care Resources for Disasters and Emergencies

A primary goal of the Office of Child Care is to help early childhood programs support children's healthy growth and development. This goal becomes especially important in the event of a major disaster or emergency, as children are among our most vulnerable populations. Child care can be a critical human service that helps protect the safety of children, and supports the stabilization efforts of families after a disaster. This Web site has links to a variety of resources for CCDF grantees, parents, and providers regarding emergency preparedness for child care.
