FY 2022 Program Integrity Webinar #1: CCDF Improper Payments: Investigations and Recovery

In the first webinar for the FY 2022 program integrity webinar series, NCSIA provided strategies to investigate and recover improper payments caused by providers, participants, and the agency. Throughout this webinar techniques and examples are provided for describing the results of investigative and recovery strategies. Also discussed are the different types of improper payments (e.g., those due to fraud or intentional program violations, unintentional program violations, or agency errors). In addition, the state presenter from Kansas shared its audit, sanction, improper payment, and recovery strategies and provided quantitative results for these strategies.
