FY 2022 National Program Integrity Webinar Series #3: CCDF COVID-19 Relief Funding – Audits and Auditing, Monitoring and Tracking, and Fraud Prevention and Detection

This webinar, CCDF COVID-19 Relief Funds: Audits and Auditing, Monitoring and Tracking, and Fraud Prevention and Detection, provided strategies for:

Developing and implementing internal controls to prevent and detect possible fraud within child care relief fund programs Ensuring sound fiscal management practices for managing multiple funding streams to assure accountability of the funds Preparing for Audits Monitoring providers and subcontractors

The webinar focused on the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) discretionary funds appropriated in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) and the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021 (CRRSA), and the child care stabilization grants and supplemental CCDF discretionary funds appropriated in the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021. North Carolina’s Lead Agency staff shared their program integrity strategies to implement CCDF COVID-19 emergency programs.
