Consumer Education: Building Effective Websites That Meet CCDF Requirements

This webinar was hosted by the Office of Child Care (OCC) and the Child Care State Capacity Building Center (SCBC) on April 26, 2018. During this webinar, participants had the opportunity to do the following:

  • Explore strategies for meeting Child Care and Development Fund website requirements
  • Learn more about recommendations for effective websites
  • See how the national consumer education website, ChildCare.gov, supports outreach to families in their state
  • Discover a newly released tool that can be used to assess the effective of their state’s website
  • Hear about a wide variety of resources and technical assistance opportunities available to support consumer education and family engagement efforts

Speakers included representatives from OCC; SCBC; the National Center on Parent, Family and Community Engagement; the National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance; and the National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment.
