This document has been developed to help inform States about current program quality standards about family involvement in the classroom/program, family communication and education, and family support and resources for the care of infants and toddlers in center-based settings. Two types of state program quality standards were reviewed and analyzed for this brief: child care licensing regulations and QRIS standards. Also included are summaries of the Early Head Start Program Performance Standards in these content areas.
