On June 3, 2020 the National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment (NCASE) hosted the webinar, "Navigating the Transition to Kindergarten and School-Age Care." NCASE was joined by colleagues from the National Center on Early Childhood Development, Teaching, and Learning (NCECDTL) and the National Center on Parent, Family and Community Engagement (NCPFCE).
The interim guidance from the CDC includes important information for schools and child care centers in both English and Spanish. It includes a fact sheet about children and COVID-19 and a document on how to stop the spread of the virus. It was updated March 12, 2020. This resource supports the COVID-19 response.
On October 19, 2017 the National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment (NCASE) hosted a webinar facilitated by colleagues from the National Center on Child Care Subsidy Innovation and Accountability and the Child Care State Capacity Building Center. During this interactive session, participants had the opportunity to explore requirements in the Child Care and Development Block Grant
