The transition to kindergarten is an important milestone in a young child’s life. While this transition is often accompanied by much excitement and anticipation, it can also bring uncertainty and anxiety as children face changes on multiple levels.
This issue brief outlines a policy agenda for federal, state, and local efforts that can increase participation in summer STEM learning, with a special focus on girls and students of color who have been under-represented in higher education and in careers.
This issue brief is an interview with the evaluator of a STEM project with middle and high school tribal youth, working with tribal leaders and STEM professionals on a research project about salmon restoration.
