This slide show provides a summary of what parents, teachers, and Out-of-School Time (OST) providers want in summer programs for 2021 based on a combination of focus groups, interviews, and 3,031 surveys. Results indicate that parents want summer programs to prioritize their children’s social and emotional health.

This webpage includes links to sites such as National Geographic, Scholastic Learn at Home, and Khan Academy. This resource supports the COVID-19 response.
These evidence-based standards foster nutrition and physical activity outcomes for children in grades K-12 attending out-of-school time programs. Originally developed in 2011 and then adopted and disseminated by the National Afterschool Association, the standards were refreshed in 2018.
