A National Portrait of the Health and Education of Hispanic Boys and Young Men

This report provides a national portrait on the well-being of Latino boys and young men compared to their White and Black peers from early childhood through young adulthood on two dimensions: health and education. Data explores strengths as well as disparities on issues like obesity, physical activity, smoking and drinking, proficiency in reading, math, and science, and adult rates of employment. These data can guide afterschool programs in understanding which developmental tasks might be important to focus on.
