State-Tribal Coordination: Considerations and Strategies for Consultation and Collaboration

The Office of Child Care (OCC) is excited to offer the upcoming national webinar, State-Tribal Coordination: Considerations and Strategies for Consultation and Collaboration.

This webinar will be cohosted by OCC, the National Center on Tribal Early Childhood Development (NCTECD), and the Child Care State Capacity Building Center (SCBC). It will focus on sharing regional promising practices, opportunities, challenges, benefits, and lessons learned about the important communications and relationships between states and American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program grantees. The webinar will also be a forum for open discussion among OCC Regional Office, NCTECD, and SCBC technical assistance (TA) staff members and your state and AI/AN peers.

CCDF program requirements dictate that state and AI/AN CCDF administrators consult and coordinate with each other on the development of state CCDF Plans. Across the country, both state and AI/AN CCDF administrators have requested TA to help them meet this requirement. This webinar will provide CCDF administrators an opportunity to learn from their peers and OCC about successful consultation and collaboration strategies.

This national webinar will be held on April 17, 2018, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). The webinar will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to join the live presentation. You can register for the webinar via this website.

Thank you for all you do for children and families.
