New Program Instruction on Supplemental Disaster Relief Funds for Child Care

The Office of Child Care (OCC) is pleased to announce the release of new guidance on the supplemental disaster relief funds for child care. The purpose of this Program Instruction (PI)—CCDF-ACF-PI-2019-06—is to provide information to state, territory, and tribal lead agencies regarding the distribution of the supplemental disaster relief funds for child care.

This PI also provides guidance on allowable activities, instructions on how to apply the funds, the notice of federal interest, information on the obligating and expending of funds, reporting requirements, lead agencies monitoring, and other requirements. Please see Appendices A and B for information concerning states, territories, and tribes that are eligible to apply for these funds.
