National Criminal Background Checks Webinars

Dear Colleague:

The Office of Child Care (OCC) is excited to continue the National Criminal Background Checks webinars. Cohosted by the National Center on Subsidy Innovation and Accountability (NCSIA), these national webinars will provide policy clarifications captured during previous National Criminal Background Checks webinars and during criminal background checks technical assistance (TA) conference calls. These webinars will also be a forum for open discussion with OCC policy staff, NCSIA TA staff, and your fellow Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program grantee counterparts.

OCC looks forward to continuing these webinars as a forum for discussion and to sharing new lead agency highlights; key TA resources; and other ways that states, territories, and tribes continue to implement their criminal background check efforts. The March 19th webinar will focus on comparisons between CCDF background check requirements and Office of Head Start background check requirements.

Webinars will be held quarterly, or as needed, starting on March 19, 2018, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). They will also be recorded and made available for those who are unable to join the live presentation. Future dates and topics will be communicated once they have been scheduled.

You can register for the March 19th webinar by following this Web link.

Thank you for all you do for children and families.
