Monthly Featured Resource: Funding and Access

Is your state or program looking for creative funding approaches to increase access to high quality out-of-school time (OST) programs for children, especially those in low-income families? This new NCASE publication on funding resources can help you discover new approaches to securing financial support.

This resource bundle highlights three briefs and one webinar that explore models for combining different funding sources to better support and sustain child care programs, including summer programs. The resources identify different types of potential funding streams, methods for combining funds, and program and state examples of partnerships to combine a range of funds including Child Care and Development Funds (CCDF) and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF). The publication also features questions for reflection and questions to support the development of action steps.
