You are invited to join the License-Exempt Provider Monitoring Community of Practice. This is a community of professionals responsible for designing or implementing a system for visiting and supporting license-exempt child care providers. Your participation in the community of practice will connect you with your peers across the country.

 

What Will I Get Out of It?

You’ll learn from your peers as you discuss the challenges and successes involved in visiting and supporting license-exempt child care providers.

 

Who Can Join?

The community is open to anyone—from licensing, quality, subsidy, and contracting agencies—who is responsible for designing or implementing a system for visiting and supporting license-exempt providers.

 

How Will We Communicate?

We’ll communicate via a monthly conference call and an email listserv.

When Are the Calls?

The 90-minute calls are scheduled from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time) on the following dates: March 28, April 25, May 16, June 20, and July 18.

 

The License-Exempt Provider Monitoring Community of Practice is hosted by the National Center on Early Childhood Quality Assurance in partnership with the National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment.
