The National Center on Program Management and Fiscal Operations has been awarded to University of Massachusetts (UMass) Donahue Institute in collaboration with Family Health International (FHI) 360 and ZERO TO THREE (ZTT). The Center is administered by the Office of Head Start (OHS).
NCPMFO supports the dissemination of clear, consistent messages on OHS priorities for the development and implementation of sound management systems and strong internal controls. The Center's work will include, but is not limited to, topics such as: risk management; governance; data collection and analysis; budgeting; and management of multiple funding sources. The Center also assists organizations to implement and enhance the infrastructure necessary to support a well-managed system of early care and education. NCPMFO's activities and products will also support continuous quality improvement in program leadership, resulting in the creation of materials, webinars or webcasts, and training modules on program governance, management, and fiscal operations that address governing body roles and functions. T/TA is evidence-based and is delivered to regional T/TA providers, Head Start and Early Head Start agencies, and other ECE settings across regions, Tribes, and territories.
