Intensive Technical Assistance for Enhancing Consumer Education Websites: Application Now Available

State and territory Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies are invited to apply for intensive technical assistance to support their efforts to enhance their child care consumer education websites. This technical assistance will focus on helping states and territories meet the CCDF requirements, and on implementing best practices for a family friendly and accessible consumer education website.

Each participating state or territory will receive intensive technical assistance from the Child Care State Capacity Building Center Consumer Education Technical Assistance Team, which will include expert consultation on website content development, website design, and information technology systems. The team will assist each participating state or territory in developing and implementing a consumer education digital strategy plan to guide the enhancements to their website. 

This intensive technical assistance opportunity is open to up to four states or territories that have identified unmet CCDF consumer education website requirements, and an interest in implementing recommended best practices for creating and maintaining family friendly and accessible consumer education websites.

An optional webinar was held on July 10th from 4:00–4:30 to provide more information about the benefits of participating in this opportunity and the application process.
